Jointly hosted by myself and the wonderful Nisi Crerar (botanical artist, yoga teacher, and all-round inspiring human!), Beauty in Decay is a nourishing, thoughtful retreat where we’ll explore ~ and celebrate ~ the beauty of life’s natural changes.

Rather than shying away from the realities of ageing and change, we’ll use this weekend to discover how accepting life’s ebb and flow can actually make it richer, warmer, and more joyful. We’ll be guided by the changing season, taking our cue from autumn’s golden light, soft mists, and quiet transformations, and drawing on the wisdom contained in the Buddhist concept of the Three Marks of Existence.

This isn’t about being “serious” or heavy ~ it’s about opening up to a kinder, more generous way of seeing ourselves and the world. We’ll take inspiration from Buddhist deities, White Tara (longevity, compassion, peace) and Green Tara (overcoming obstacles with compassionate action), weaving their qualities into our practice.
