About the Event

I am delighted to present this event with the wonderful Isabelle Roney, at the light and airy Whitsome Ark.

Together, we'll spend the day exploring our attitudes towards reaching this natural and empowering time of life, and looking at practical techniques to help manage some of the more unwanted symptoms of becoming wiser!

We'll be considering the reasons behind those upsetting digestive and menstrual issues, loss of confidence, and increasing stress and anxiety, and then applying practical yoga techniques to help the body find more level ground in amidst all the hormonal upheaval. Meditation and mindfulness practices will provide the opportunity to offer ourselves compassion and forgiveness and, together with pranayama techniques (breathwork), will be used to help manage the emotional disturbance, our changing sense of identity, and those pesky hot flushes!

This is a fully catered event, with the emphasis on plant-based food and nutrition that can assist in balancing the female hormones.

This will be a fun day, full of laughter and shared experience.
