About the Event

What does it mean, to be a warrior? This is the question we'll be considering in this afternoon workshop. We'll be deep-diving into these ubiquitous poses, exploring the history, philosophy, physicality, purpose and intention behind them.


A warrior suggests aggression, force and strength. But what happens if we bring a steadier intention to these poses? How might that change our approach not only in pose, but as we enter and leave?


This workshop will include looking at each Warrior pose carefully in turn and then putting them together into two flows -- one strong and "warrior" like and the other soft and gentle. As in so much in life, our intention predicts the outcome!


Expect meditation and breathwork plus plenty of time for discussion, questions and experimentation. And coffee and biscuits!


Suitable for anyone with some yoga experience.
