TERMS and  CONDITIONS

1. Block-booking

a) Classes within a block are non-transferable from week to week. However, if there is space in another class within the same week you are very welcome to attend but do check first. You are welcome to attend an online class as substitute. If no space is available or you do not wish to take up the option of an online class, the class is forfeit.

b) No refund will be given with less than a week's notice from the start of the relevant block.

c) Once started, blocks are non-refundable. They reserve your mat space for the duration of  the block, ensuring no-one else can use it.

d) You will not be charged for a week in which I am away or cannot run a class. Similarly, if you cannot make a class or a number of classes in a block, those classes become forfeit (see above).

e) In special circumstances,  it may be possible to transfer a  part-block to a friend or relative or set the remaining cost against another class, workshop or event. The part-block will comprise of any  classes remaining after notification of inability to complete the block.

2.  Drop-ins

a) Drop-ins are not automatically available at every venue. They are available at Etal and Coldstream. For other venues, you should check drop-in availability as priority will always be given to those who have paid by block.

b) No refund will be given with less than 48 hrs notice.

3. Livestream Classes

a) No refunds will be issued due to internet outage or low bandwith outwith Berwick & Borders Yoga's control.

 b) Occasionally livestream classes will be offered as an alternative to in-person classes ie. due to bad weather making travelling dangerous to both teacher and participants. On these occasions, no refund will be given as the class is technically still running. 

c) If a participant has substituted an in-person class for a livestream option, it is their responsibility to ensure they have the correct link.

d) A livestream class as an ad hoc swap for an in-person class is granted at Berwick & Borders Yoga's discretion.

4. Gift Vouchers

a) Are non-refundable.

b) Must be used within six months from purchase, whereafter they can no longer be used.

c) Classes must be booked in advance. Please have your voucher number available when you book. 

d) You will need to bring your voucher with you on first take-up to exchange

e) Please check online and your voucher for days of validity eg, One-to-Ones available only on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the day (see below, Packages).

f) Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with discounted offers.

g) It is not possible to change the make-up of a voucher.

h) Vouchers for yoga are not offered to anyone under the age of 16.

g) Vouchers do not guarantee priority access if class is full.

5. Packages

a) Each element of the package is booked by the recipient.

b) Packages must be paid for in full before taking up the first element of the package.

c) All elements of the package must be taken up within six months of purchase or risk forfeit.

d) At least 24 hours' notice of cancellation of any element of the package must be given or risk forfeit.

e) Please check both the website of Berwick & Borders Yoga and Borders & Berwick Touch Therapies online for days of validity eg, yoga 1-2-1s are available only on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the day.

f) Packages are not offered to anyone under 18.

g) It is not possible to change the make-up of a package.

6. Discount Massage Offer

a) This is open to current students of Berwick & Borders Yoga who have attended regularly for at least three months.

b) This offer is not open to past students who no longer attend classes.

c) By opting into this offer, you are giving permission for your email details to be used in further marketing campaigns and deals offered by both Berwick & Borders Yoga and Borders & Berwick Touch Therapies.

d) This offer isn't available to students under the age of 18

e) Berwick & Borders Yoga is not responsible for any issues arising between the student and Borders & Berwick Touch Therapies.

7. Events & Workshops

a) Monies must be received before the event takes place.

b) On the occasion of Berwick & Borders Yoga unavoidably cancelling an event, all monies will be refunded to the participant.

c) On the occasion of a participant cancelling their attendance to an event, the following shall apply:

i) if said cancellation occurs 14 days or more before the event, all monies shall be refunded

ii) if said cancellation occurs 7 days or less before the event, 50% of the monies shall be refunded

iii) if less than 48 hours' notice of cancellation is given, all monies are non-refundable.
